It goes without saying that you as a potential passenger
will need absolute reassurance and peace of mind when paying over
any money. We have 3 systems in place, each backing up the next but
all guaranteeing your monies separately.
As Travel Trust Association members, under The Package Holidays,
Package Travel, Package Tour Regulations 1992 (S13288) any
payments you make (except local payments of course) are made payable
into an independently run trust account The money will remain there
until the completion of your expedition and only then, with the authorisation
of the TTA and an independent trustee, will the money be forwarded
to us. Your money is fully accounted for at all times, unlike other
bonding systems.
All our expeditions come with what we term a "TRAVEL PROTECTION
PLAN". Effectively it is an insurance policy that we are obliged
by law to pay for and issue with your booking. In the highly unlikely
event of any irregularities with the trust account, it will provide
you with full financial protection for your holiday arrangements,
to the value of £11,000 (with no excess).
In addition, we have COMPREHENSIVE PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY AND PUBLIC
LIABILITY INSURANCE COVER.
